Snow Fun

Olivia & Violet had a blast playing outside in the snow last night. They didn't even want to come in for supper, which was strange considering how much they like food! :) Daddy shoveled some snow into a big pile for them to climb on and sled down. The girls called it a "mountain" even though it was only a few feet high.

Museum Fun

My sister Rhonda and her daughter Emma visited us last weekend. On Saturday morning, we went to the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul. We had never been there before. All three of the girls had a BLAST! Thank you Debbie & Al for the gift passes! There were seven "galleries," or large rooms with exhibits in them. We didn't get through them all but the favorites were the water room where they played with bubbles and did other water activites, the dinosaur exhibit room, and the "Habitot" play area with a whole bunch of slides, climbing walls, etc. The girls had a great time and could have stayed longer, but we unfortunately had to get them home for a nap. When they got up from their nap, we went outside and played in the snow. Olivia & Violet really enjoyed playing with their cousin Emma. It was so much fun to watch them be silly and giggle like crazy! All three girls were very good, and had a great time together. Here are some pictures from the museum.

Twinkle, Twinkle...

Here is a video of the girls singing their current favorite song - "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." (Please note: daycare fixed their hair in a very silly way!)

TwinsFest

We took the girls down to the Metrodome last Saturday to TwinsFest, an annual event put on by the Minnesota Twins. We thought the girls might enjoy seeing baseball stuff, since they like watching "bay-ball" on TV. Plus, it was something to do in the winter since we couldn't be outside! :) We had a good time. We saw a model of the new Target Field, and the Target dog mascot was there in a Twins jersey. Violet gave him a high five, but Olivia wanted nothing to do with him. As soon as the Target dog walked away, Violet said "I like it" and Olivia said "I don't like it" almost simultaneously. Then Violet kept saying "more puppy." It's funny how they can be different! They also thought they wanted to try jumping in a big inflatable jumping palace. We took their shoes off and carried them to the entrance, then they both stiffened up and started saying "nooooo." Sheesh! They enjoyed walking around though, and did not want to ride in the stroller. Luckily we went late in the day so it wasn't super busy. There were Twins players signing autographs, but we didn't want to wait in line with the girls. It was fun!
