no foolin'

The girls played a pretty good April Fools Day trick on Dad. Their daycare teachers helped them come up with the idea, but it was still pretty funny! It went something like this:

Girls: "Dad, do you want some brownies?"
Dad: "Yes!"
Girls (pulling back the napkin on the plate): "Here you go! APRIL FOOL! It's just a plate of brown E's! Ha ha ha ha ha!"

APRIL FOOL!
We gave the girls the opportunity to take a break from swimming lessons this spring and try another type of class. They decided on ice skating and then golf. Tonight was their first ice skating class. They were both a little nervous, and Olivia kept asking if she would be able to have a hockey stick, so I wasn't sure how it would go. They did great though!! The class is for beginners, which they are, so they skated with a support most of the time (and they are required to wear helmets in case you are wondering). I did see some improvement by the end of the first class, so that was great! As soon as they came off the ice, they were saying that they didn't want to leave.

Ready for class to start!
