Fun Weekend

My mom and dad came to visit this weekend. The girls were happy to see their Grandma and Grandpa. On Saturday afternoon, we went for a walk to a park near our house. The girls went on the swing for the first time. They loved it! On Saturday evening, we went to my aunt and uncle's house for supper. They live in a suburb of the cities about 30 minutes from our house. On Sunday we went to church, then to visit my great aunt, and then out for dinner. The girls were very good everywhere we went. We are very lucky to have such good-natured babies. They are not afraid to be held by anyone, even people they don't know.

We had a couple of "firsts" happen this weekend.

Violet managed to crawl underneath her Exersaucer and get stuck. She kept trying to crawl her way out, but she just couldn't do it. We finally had to pull her out!














Grandma Thronson fixed Olivia's first ponytail. She looked so cute!!!

The girls also tried a couple of new foods. They had chicken, toast with a little bit of jelly, mandarin oranges, and mustmelon. They love it all! They will eat anything that you put in their mouths. They are eating more and more table food. We have their 9 month checkup in a few weeks, so we will find out how much they weigh. It sure is getting harder and harder for one person to carry both of them in their car seats at the same time!
